Paper Lesson

Activity: For this paper lesson we learned about Picasso and then we colored a template of a face with one side a side view and the other a front view. We then colored the face with different materials like colored pencil, pastels, and markers. We then cut them down the middle both ways and switched two of the four pieces with our table partners. After we cut the 4 little pieces into geometric and organic shapes and saw how different they can be even with the same template.

Extension Activity: After the students complete this same activity we can write down ways their face and their partners is different. This lesson can be integrated with learning about uniqueness and talking about how everyone is so different from each other.
